The primary focus of my research is computer security. At IISc,
I direct the
Computer Systems Security
Laboratory.
My research projects have considered security and privacy issues in
a broad spectrum of computer systems, from cloud platforms through
Web browsers to mobile devices. I have wide-ranging interests, and
my projects usually draw on ideas and methods developed in a variety
of areas, such as applied cryptography, program analysis, formal methods,
machine intelligence, and hardware architecture. Please consult
my publications
for details. I usually
teach
courses in computer systems and security. I have made the
lecture
videos from my security course freely available.
