Postdoctoral Researcher position in Indo-Swedish project

A postdoctoral fellow position is open in an Indo-Swedish project ''Robust topological methods for analysis of dynamic large scale data for modern material design'' with Tejas Murthy and I at IISc Bangalore. This project is in collaboration with Ingrid Hotz at Linköping University, Sweden.

Qualification: A PhD in granular physics or geomechanics, or in computer science or mathematics with specialization in visualization / image analysis / computer vision / graphics. Applicants who have submitted their dissertation may also apply.

Required skill set: Strong academic training in imaging or granular mechanics. Experience in handling large data sets such as xray CT is desirable. Experience with programming and software design. Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment.

Remuneration and Tenure: Salary and HRA will be fixed based on experience and according to DST norms. The tenure of the position is 2 years. One year with possible extension to a second year subject to satisfactory progress and mutual consent.
