Job Opening-Project Assistant

We are looking for candidates for 2 Project Associate positions to work on a rigorous understanding of the compression of neural networks for efficient deployment for server-scale applications. The positions will be under Professors Govindrajan Ramaswamy and Chiranjib Bhattacharyya. Candidates with an inclination toward research, or who plan to continue in graduate programs are highly encouraged to join. Priority will be given to candidates with industry experience in either ML or Computer Systems.

Qualifications:
BE/BTech or ME/MTech in CS/EE/ECE or related disciplines;
Familiarity with deep learning
Good understanding of computer architecture;
Working knowledge of pytorch.

Desired Skills:
1. Profiling tools such as muprof and vtune
2. Familiarity with commonly used neural network architectures, such as ResNets, VGGs, Transformers, ViTs
3. Familiarity with model compression, in particular pruning.
